jyotisha - the eye of veda

triskandam jyotisham hora ganitam samhetate cha |
eteshwapi trishu shrestha horeti shruyate mune || (1.3 BPHS)

Jyotisha is divided into three parts hora ,ganita and samhita
hora means the predictive methodology
ganita means the mathematical formulas
samhita means the collection of various rules and formulas which also contains details like science of palmistry , omens , clairvoyence , remedies and rituals (karma kanda)

Because of computer softwares the ganita part has been sidelined and hora part is been practiced mostly.

the pillars of astrology
1.signs (Rashi)
2.heavenly bodies(graha)
3. bhavas (houses)
4. upagrahas (non luminious planets)
5. Yogas
6. nakshatras
7.Dashas

The earth and the other planets revolve around sun through a certain path in heavens. This path is referred as ecliptic. On both sides of the ecliptic there is an imaginary belt of 9-9 inside which all these grahas revolve. This broad belt of 18 is called as zodiac. To facilitate the study each zodiac is divided into 12 equal parts. Each part is called sign or Rashi.
Rashis from Aries (mesha) to pisces (meena).

zodiac is divided into 27 equal parts this division is called as nakshatra which runs from Ashwini to Revati.

Grahas are the planetary bodies from sun to saturn .. sun doesn't move but when you look from earth it seems to move in the zodiac belt , since we prepare the birth chart through point of consideration from earth , this is why earth is not included in prime nava graha.

Bhava
from lagna to vyaya bhava 12houses are allotted which represents everything from studies to sleep of a human being.

upagraha
upagraha is non luminous heavenly bodies which are also calculated mathematically from postion of nava graha . which is dhuma ,vyatipata, indrachapa , upaketu ,paridhi, gulika, dhwaja and pranapada.

yoga
it has infinite number of yoga. Here yoga means planetary allotment of positions which represents either as dhana providing combination ,aristha (misfortune) etc etc.

dasha
Dasha is time period which fructifies according to the planetary position in the kundali or the jataka.
There are more than hundred dasha in jyotisha .. the famous among them is vimshottari dasha .. which is said to be relevant in kali yuga.

Act of sex in detail

As we discussed it in last post about sexuality in general with rules and regulations . The reason why i am posting is because if i don't reveal these secrets one would easily fall into wrong info circulated in name of  kamasutra. Here i would discuss the act more explicitly ,so viewer discretion is been adviced . so last time i said there are 3 body types of male according to books and 3 body types of female but ananga ranga and rati rahasya also states that there are 4 body types of female : padmini, shankhini, chitrini and hastini which get further categorised as mrigi, ashvini  and karini . These are general judments of physique so nearest body type according to category can be alloted because you usually won't get these exact body shapes . so proper judement should be done with respect to body type. So i would consider types of women and men then i would go towards  Act of copulation according to body types and the act . This info contains

Is prophet muhammad really mentioned in the vedas ?

prophet muhammad is mentioned in the vedas is claimed  by mr zakir naik alone . His excited dumb followers as well as some dumb sickular Hindus accepted his statements without even cross checking the statements . some Quotations which mr naik exploits is Rig veda 1.13.3 ,1.53.9 and  5.5.2 yajurveda 20.37  there are many more verses like these but here mr naik delibrately chose to exploit is the word ( nara shamsaha which means praised by men) he quotes all the verses in which narashamsa is been mentioned and misleads people by saying its prophet muhammad. vedas contain hymns and verses for devas like  indra ,vayu ,agni etc and there is no specific mention of muhammad . look at the following hymns rig veda 1.13.3 narasamsamhiha priyamasminajna upahvaye | madhujihvat haviskrtam || i kindle the fire in this yagna which is beloved and benificient to people ,the sweet tounged and in which obligations are put. rig veda  5.5.2 narasamsah susudatimm yajnamadabhyah |
