I wanted to make this series from a very long time . Every God which we worship has an actual presence in this world, it's not about some man controlling the nature from heaven.. Our scriptures always talks about the present forces in colourful form, in our culture creator is always present in the creation. This series of Asta digpalakas are those gods whom are assigned one direction to each and many more signification. These digpalas are frequently mentioned in the vedas and numerous suktas have been mentioned about them. In modern Hinduism they are been reduced to a directional deities although they have major significance in vastu. In all major yagnas they are still being invoked and offerings are made for them.
